this was an early promo video i produced for shockoe sessions, an in-studio concert series hosted by in your ear studios. i ended up submitting this video as final assignment for my on class Editorial Storytelling. footage from the performance was pre-captured and our assignment was to create a new narrative with only the clips given to us.

for my submission i focused on recurring images of candles. the featured band (colpa mia) was just starting out and i wanted to portray a sense of hope and opportunity.
